Dear Valued Customers, Suppliers & Partners:
As Australia and the world community works together to combat the spread of Coronavirus (COVID 19), at AVID we continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and its impact to our employees, suppliers, customers and business partners.
With the growing worldwide number of Coronavirus cases, proactive and ongoing communication with our key stakeholders is critical. We aim to be in close contact with our clients as well as suppliers, logistics and other service providers to understand any project impacts and to work through mitigation activities.
Following recent public guidance and in light of widely publicised measures implemented by both Federal and State governments, AVID is taking prudent measures to protect the health and safety of our employees, our business partners, and all visitors to our offices & sites. We have issued updated instructions to our employees, directing all employees who are able to perform their work from home effective immediately – until further notice.
Our Senior Executive Leadership team has also enacted its continuity plans and we are working with all our workgroups to ensure we have a safe continuity of operations systems throughout our business.
Last week our high risk employees commenced working from home and we review our IT and digital abilities in planning for this event.
Implementing our Work from Home Policy was not a decision we took lightly but is clearly in the best interest of our employees, our stakeholders and the broader community. The intent is of course to limit our employees’ exposure, but we are acutely aware that we need to do this without compromising the ability to remain connected, productive and work securely. Our business is extremely well prepared to do this. Our priority has been to help our people, customers and partners to keep their teams safe.
AVID has also ensured that our employees understand the increased cybersecurity risk from working remotely. This has been done to protect our business and yours.
We appreciate your patience as we react to this global issue, and thank you for your ongoing support.
Stay safe and stay healthy.
